ASEAN is made up of 10 countries located in Southeast Asia - namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The countries work together to encourage acceleration of economic growth, social progress, cultural development among its members, and the promotion of regional peace.
