| im still in shock to actually witness a extinction level event take place in my lifetime.
if it wasnt for modern day technology, then millions more would perish in the aftermath of this horrible disaster due to starvation and disease.
such a horrible tragedy this is,and i wish i could help people over there, but my hands are tied.
i hope that the survivors are able to overlook the loses of loved ones and property and think about another future they can have if everyone of them could pull together.
if mankind gave up in every disaster, then we wouldnt be here today. |

| Hi. We live in Canada. We are 7 years old, 5 years old and 3 months old. We are sorry about the Tsunami wave. It is very sad that a lot of people died. We hope the people that didn't die are all being good to each other. We hope that they can remake their houses and that any kid who had a mommy or daddy die will find new people to love them.
It is very sad that the ocean got so mad...
Please love each other a lot.
Bless You,
Aidan, Ethan and Izzak |

| I have certainly been reading up on the latest news regarding the dreaded tidal wave catastrophe and I am deeply saddened.
It happened on a Sunday morning, when an undersea eathquake unleashed a powerful and highly destructive tsunami which raced across the vast Indian Ocean. Everybody was caught offguard; everybody was oblivious to the imminent disaster which loomed ahead. Who was to know such a thing would happen? Even though I may not know anybody who suffered in the calamity, I still feel sorry for them. Their plight now is indeed heart-wrenching and how I wish I could do more to aid them other than donating through my school. I wish I could stretch out of my comfort zone and help the needy. Houses have been destroyed and with the death toll escalating steadily, there has been endless concerns over their situations where they require immediate attention. People now in countries have been reduced to drinking contaminated water and contracting diseases such as cholera. Sinagpore has done much to help them ease their pain too, like transporting safe drinking water to quench their undying thirst and deploying medical troops to attend to their health and sending military troops to help in the reconstruction process. If only i could turn back time... My heart goes all out to the unfortunate victims. |

| I can't help to cry everytime that a video comes on TV of the Tsunami that hit in Indonesia. I had just finished a course in Geography in college so I know exactly where the Tsunamis hit and somehow feel connected with the people there. Although many thousands of miles away, please know that you all are in our prayers, and as the world unites to send help, I hope that all the world will continue to be united even after everything is done over there. We all care. We are very sorry for all you pain. we feel it too. |
