There is a saying that God never gives us more than we can handle at any given time. But, when we see the devastation of a Tsunami, we all must wonder whether we remain in the good graces of a God that, in theory, loves each of us without equivocation. Surely, the heartfelt sympathy and and heart wrenching ache that is felt by families of those lost are a reminder of how vulnerable each of us is, and how much we depend upon God in sparing us from such world wide tragedies. At these times, we can only learn from each other how dependent we are upon each other to remain safe, and to recognize how difficult it is to get through to the peace of a calm that sustains us. All of our prayers are with you, your loved ones, and those you've lost, and weight heavily upon the helpless witnesses that we are in your time of trouble. God be with you to ease your pain as well as your grief.

May God Bless everyone affected by the wave of destruction & heartache. We are a family of 5, barely paying our bills but we are compelled to help you. We have donated 1000 US dollars to your relief efforts with the hope God will bless each of you with true happiness, health, and prosperity. We live in Toronto and if we can do anything further, please let us know. Much love and well wishes, Mark Blakley

I'm fr M'sia. I just want to say 'to everyone who has suffered lost and also lost their loved ones', be strong in heart and never give up hope.... I pray that God will grant you strength to live on. At times, we as humans can never understand why things like that would happen. But i'm sure better days will come when you'll look back and be thankful that you survived..... May you have a brighter future ahead. Remember, where there's faith, there'll be hope....

May all the families of those who were effected be blessed. These are the times in which we need to stay strong and come together, as we are all family. May those who lost their lives rest in peace. What has happened, and those who were lost cannot be changed, but what we can change is what happens next. Bless All.

May the dead victims find their peace, may the Goddess of Mercy and The Buddha assist them to whatever end, have mercy on them in their next lives in heaven or on earth. May the survivors be strengthened and given another chance to rebuild and live their lives to the fullest. My prayers and thoughts of them will never end. Not just to these Tsunami victims, but also to any other victims, dead, and the sufferings around the world. May all beings be happy and peaceful. Om Mani Padme Hum...

Cast in darkness I lie, Awaiting deaths sweat kiss. The shadows surround my body, As I sink, into this hollow abyss. Where my nightmares and I lay. Praying for my time to come. This piercing bite of my razor blade, Has left my heart cold and numb. Frozen, my insides turn, For I only live to see the day. When my life of pain is lifted from me, And my soul is taken away. On wings of steel I'll fly, Away from my darkened tomb. My cell of shadows striped from me, When over head storm clouds loom. They have come to wash me away, To flush out my dying soul. Their waters pour and my blood drains, Depression had taken its tole.

I don't think I've ever felt so sad for anyone. Its hard to imagine the sheer horror of the tsunami without being there yourself. Now that the number of dead has risen so high that the workers have lost count, my heart really goes out to all those who have lost family members. My condolences to you all.
