Budget 2001 at a glance

Corporate rates to be cut one percentage point from 25.5 percent to 24.5 percent, effective YA2002.

Individual tax rates of all bands to be reduced by between two and five percentage points.

Top marginal tax rate will be cut from 28 percent to 26 percent.

All individual taxpayers will pay less tax, with the majority paying at least 25 percent less tax.
