Measuring 87 x 47 x 23.9 millimetres, the Panasonic X70 fits snugly in your palm and weighs just 95 grams, smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the popular GD88.

The X70 comes with a large 65,000 colour screen, vibrant and clear - great for playing games and MMS. It supports up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 290 hours of stand-by time, as well as a 16-tone polyphonic ringer that produces loud and sharp sounds. And you won't have to download your own polyphonic ringtones, just pick from the library of 15 ringers to suit your mood and taste.

Crammed into this small package is also a camera that comes with auto timer and inbuilt light to help in dim conditions. You can snap away without worries as the X70 has some 4MB of memory space, and can store up to 400 images. It even provides some special effects like framing and sepia to jazz up your photos, a dream come true for the trigger-happy!

The tri-band phone gives you access to GSM networks worldwide and WAP over GPRS. And realising the importance of wireless, handsfree communication, Panasonic has added Bluetooth to the X70 - something the GD88 lacked.
