CNA Live! is part of a suite of video-streaming contents that will be made available to SingTel's GPRS customers via its IDEAS WAP portal

SingTel has launched a new service, CNA Live! which is part of a suite of video-streaming contents that will be made available to SingTel's GPRS customers via its IDEAS WAP portal.

With CNA Live!, SingTel customers will be able to watch their favourite Channel NewsAsia programme 'live' on their mobile handsets.

The service is expected to benefit thousands of SingTel mobile customers who currently own video-enabled handsets such as the Nokia 3650 and XDA* (Pocket PC).

SingTel will be offering the service at no monthly subscription for its customers. Only the usual GPRS charges apply.
