Hi all, thank you for all your well wishes. We reached La Rochelle on Thursday, 20th Sept 07. Crew sent their best regards to all. We will be departing La Rochelle tomorrow, 23rd Sept 07 at 1:30pm, France Time for Salvador. Look out for our position update at Clipper web site. I am very proud to announce that we have been very well commended for being the most helpful crew during stopover and preparation week by riggers, and crews from other boats. Don't feel sorry for our 7th position in the race to La Rochelle as that was only our first journey - Even Manchester United at times start at 7th place in the premier league!! Look out for us in the next race. With great inspirational leader (as he always been) like Mark Preedy in addition to expert weather forecasting from Bob, Daniel and Philip, we will go with a bigger bang! Missing nasi lemak and Paratha very much ;-) |
