| The Medical Foundation
is launching a fund-raising effort in aid of victims of
tsunami-hit countries in Asia.
The proceeds will go towards buying medical supplies
and medications for the ill and injured, and to stem
the spread of infectious disease outbreaks.
Donations will also be used to provide clean drinking
water, water-purifying tablets, surgical and sanitation
supplies, and consumables such as milk powder.
