Singapore has a well-connected road and transport network. It's public transport includes the bus, train and taxi services. The efficient transportation services can bring you just about anywhere on the island within the hour.

Bus Services
There are two main public bus companies in Singapore, Singapore Bus Service (SBS) and Trans Island Bus Service (TIBS). The bus-drivers are generally helpful and friendly and would be happy to help.

Train Services
The Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) has a network of train stations that links most of Singapore.

SMRT's subsidiary Singapore Light Rail Transit (SLRT) services some of the residential areas in Singapore.

Taxi Services
There are three main taxi services in Singapore. It is usually easy to get a taxi from any of the taxi stands. You can also call for a taxi. Most hotels will provide this service.
