Singapore - a city of possibilities and a home for all. That's the blueprint Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has set out for Singapore in his National Day Rally speech, capping the island republic's celebration of 42 years of Nationhood this year. The home for all will see the upgrading and renewal of housing estates such as Punggol and Queenstown (artist impressions here.)
As for a city of possibilities, the best hint of it probably comes from the National Day Parade which was held on a floating stage built on the waters of Marina Bay. Special seating was created for the thousands who were at Marina Bay to catch the parade LIVE, while tens of thousands more tuned in to the Parade broadcast LIVE on MediaCorp's Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U and TV Mobile, Suria and Vasantham Central. You can also catch the parts of the Parade here on our Video page.
