Malaysia's Prime Minister is expected to announce a Cabinet reshuffle at a news conference today.
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Prime Minister is expected to announce a Cabinet reshuffle today (Wednesday).
According to Malaysian media,Mr Najib Tun Razak is expected to make the announcement at his office.
Speculation among local media is that Mr Najib will name a new Transport Minister, a post temporarily being held by Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.
The move comes months after a Malaysian airlines passenger plane disappeared while enroute to Beijing.
Mr Hishammuddin fronted most of the news conferences over the missing plane, MH 370 which has yet to be recovered.
Mr Najib signalled a Cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday when he mentioned at the opening of the KLIA2 terminal, that it would be Mr Hishammuddin's last appearance as Acting Transport Minister.
