SINGAPORE: Keppel Corp's offshore and marine arm has secured contracts worth a total of S$368 million, the firm said on Tuesday.
Keppel Shipyard unit will convert a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for a subsidiary of Bumi Armada Bhd such that the vessel will be able to operate in harsher environments.
Separately, Keppel Singmarine will design and carry out fabrication and outfitting works for a subsea construction vessel.
When completed, the subsea construction vessel will be deployed for the Stage 2 development of a field that lies some 70 kilometres offshore in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
Keppel Corp is the world's largest maker of offshore oil rigs.
