MCC Land submitted the highest bid of S$471.6 million for the site, translating to a unit price of S$775.17 per square foot per plot ratio.
SINGAPORE: The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded the tender for a mixed-use commercial and residential site at Meyappa Chettiar Road to MCC Land (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
MCC Land submitted the highest bid of S$471.6 million for the site. This translates to a unit price of S$775.17 per square foot per plot ratio. The 99-year leasehold site is located near the Potong Pasir MRT station and has an area of 16,149.4 square metres.
The tender, which was launched on Apr 30, attracted 15 bids at the close on Tuesday (Aug 19).
MCC Land is a subsidiary of Metallurgy Corporation of China which is listed in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The company is a property developer and engineering services provider in Singapore.
