OCBC opens sub-branch in China to help customers looking into setting up office in the country's pilot free trade zone.
SHANGHAI: OCBC Bank has opened a sub-branch at the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is located at the Shanghai International Trust and Trade Tower.
The free trade zone has been earmarked as a test bed for China's economic and financial reforms. Having a sub-branch there will allow OCBC to serve customers looking into setting up office within the free trade zone.
The sub-branch will provide services such as cross-border settlement and financing, account servicing and trade finance.
OCBC Bank's current network in China includes 16 branches and sub-branches across nine cities.
