Singapore-Australia trade relations to be discussed in August

Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang and Australia's Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb will further talks on ways to enhance bilateral ties next month.

SINGAPORE: Ways to advance bilateral relations between Singapore and Australia will be on the agenda during a meeting in August.

Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang met with Australia's Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb on Sunday (June 20) in Sydney on the sidelines of the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The ministers exchanged views on ways to enhance bilateral relations, which will be further discussed at the upcoming Singapore-Australia Joint Ministerial Committee Meeting in August, according to the statement.
