Singapore shares ended 0.83% higher on Wednesday, following overnight gains on Wall Street. The STI rose 26.97 points to end at 3,264.71.
SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore ended 0.83 per cent higher on Wednesday, following overnight gains on Wall Street.
The Straits Times Index rose 26.97 points to end at 3,264.71.
Volume was 1.68 billion shares.
In the broader market, losers led gainers 206 to 204.
Golden Agri-Resources climbed 1.67 per cent to S$0.61, Noble Group jumped 3.21 per cent to S$1.285, while Wilmar International was steady at S$3.40.
Among banks, DBS was up 0.59 per cent at S$16.94, UOB ended 2.74 per cent higher at S$21.76, while OCBC gained 1.9 per cent to S$9.65.
