Singapore shares ended 0.21% lower on Friday, in line with regional bourses, following overnight losses on Wall Street. The STI fell 6.71 points to close at 3,138.08.
SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore ended 0.21 per cent lower on Friday, in line with regional bourses, following overnight losses on Wall Street.
The Straits Times Index fell 6.71 points to close at 3,138.08.
Volume was 4.6 billion shares.
Losers led gainers 395 to 91.
Wilmar International gained 0.94 per cent to S$3.24, Noble Group advanced 4.9 per cent to S$0.965, while Golden Agri-Resources was steady at S$0.525.
Among banks, DBS was up 0.2 per cent at S$16.26, UOB declined 0.15 per cent to S$20.37, while OCBC lost 0.3 per cent to S$10.19.
CapitaLand slipped 0.65 per cent to S$3.06.
The Singapore Exchange suspended the trading of shares of Blumont Group Ltd, Asiasons Capital Ltd and LionGold Corp Ltd after their stock prices plunged earlier in the day.
