SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore ended 0.7 per cent higher on Monday, in line with regional bourses.
The Straits Times Index rose 21.74 points to end at 3,116.22.
Volume was 2.34 billion shares.
Gainers led losers 220 to 206.
Golden Agri-Resources climbed 0.94 per cent to S$0.535, Noble Group was steady at S$1.03, while Wilmar International advanced 0.9 per cent at S$3.37.
Among banks, DBS ended 0.54 per cent higher at S$16.85, UOB gained 0.87 per cent to S$20.86, while OCBC rose 1 per cent to S$10.09.
