Singapore shares ended 0.05% lower on Friday, following a weak lead from Wall Street, and ahead of the release of US jobs data later in the day.
SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore ended 0.05 per cent lower on Friday, following a weak lead from Wall Street, and ahead of the release of US jobs data later in the day.
The Straits Times Index fell 1.54 points to end at 3,143.87.
Volume was 3.68 billion shares.
Losers led gainers 213 to 186.
Golden Agri-Resources was steady at S$0.53, Noble Group ended unchanged at S$1.035, Global Logistic Properties declined 0.34 per cent to S$2.92, while Wilmar International slipped 0.3 per cent to S$3.35.
Among banks, DBS climbed 0.17 per cent to S$17.37, UOB lost 0.57 per cent to S$21.03, while OCBC was up 0.1 per cent at S$9.75.
CapitaLand eased 0.34 per cent to S$2.96.
