Singapore shares ended 0.59% lower on Monday, in line with most regional bourses, amid concerns about China's economy. The STI fell 18.54 points to end at 3,128.79.
SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore ended 0.59 per cent lower on Monday, in line with most regional bourses, amid concerns about China's economy.
The Straits Times Index fell 18.54 points to end at 3,128.79.
Volume was 3.07 billion shares.
Losers led gainers 272 to 146.
Golden Agri-Resources was steady at S$0.53, Noble Group dropped 0.98 per cent to S$1.015, while Wilmar International was unchanged at S$3.27.
Among banks, DBS rose 0.06 per cent to S$17.41, UOB lost 0.54 per cent to S$20.38, while OCBC eased 0.31 per cent to S$9.68.
Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust was up 1.4 per cent at S$2.18, Jardine Strategic Holdings ended 1.47 per cent lower at US$34.10, while SingTel fell 0.85 per cent to S$3.49.
