SINGAPORE: Shares in Singapore closed 0.16 per cent higher on Tuesday, in line with regional bourses.
The Straits Times Index rose 4.97 points to end at 3,133.76.
Volume was 3.3 billion shares.
Gainers led losers 258 to 161.
Golden Agri-Resources declined 0.94 per cent to S$0.525, Noble Group fell 1 per cent to S$1.005, while Wilmar International ended 0.92 per cent lower at S$3.24.
Among banks, UOB eased 0.15 per cent to S$20.35, DBS lost 0.23 per cent to S$17.37, while OCBC was down 0.1 per cent at S$9.67.
SingTel gained 0.86 per cent to S$3.52, Jardine Matheson Holdings climbed 1.76 per cent to US$56.17, SIA Engineering ended 0.8 per cent higher at S$4.99, while Keppel Land was up 1.23 per cent at S$3.29.
