Singapore to report Q4 GDP data on Feb 20

Singapore will report detailed fourth quarter GDP data for 2013 at 8am on February 20, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Thursday.

SINGAPORE: Singapore will report detailed fourth quarter GDP data for 2013 at 8am on February 20, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Thursday.

According to advance estimates released in January, Singapore's economy grew 4.4 per cent on-year in the fourth quarter, bringing growth for the full year to 3.7 per cent.

MTI's Economic Survey of Singapore provides a breakdown of growth by industries such as electronics and finance, details that are not available in the advance estimates.

The GDP report comes one day before Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam unveals his budget for financial year 2014/15.
