SEOUL: K-pop boy band EXO’s Luhan will make his big screen debut in a Chinese film tentatively titled “Returning to the 20s”, reported Chinese media.

“Returning to the 20s” is a Chinese remake of the 2014 Korean film “Miss Granny”.

It tells the tale of a 70-year-old woman who gets to look like she did in her 20s once more, and plays in a band with her grandson.

Luhan will star alongside Chinese actresses Kuei Ya Lei and Yang Zi Shan, as well as Taiwan actor Chen Bo Lin in the film.

Luhan will reportedly play the woman’s grandson, while Chen and Yang will play the film’s male and female leads respectively.

“Returning to the 20s” is expected to go into production in late May.
