K-pop band FTISLAND's Lee Hong-gi dislocated his shoulder and suffered facial fractures after slipping on an icy road on Sunday, said the band's management agency.
SEOUL: K-pop band FTISLAND’s management agency FNC Entertainment recently revealed that band member Lee Hong-gi had suffered serious injuries when he slipped on an icy road on Sunday night, reported Korean media.
Lee was on his way home after a gathering with the production team of his new drama “Hundred Year Bride” when the accident occurred.
The 23 year-old singer-actor dislocated his shoulder and suffered facial fractures during the fall.
FNC Entertainment said Lee will need at least six weeks to recover from his injuries.
Shooting for “Hundred Year Bride” has been put on hold while Lee receives treatment.
It is still unclear how Lee’s injuries will affect FTISLAND’s scheduled activities.
However, organisers have since confirmed that FTISLAND's upcoming Singapore concert in March next year will be held as planned.
