The nett proceeds from the sale of the VIP tickets to G-Dragon's upcoming Singapore gig will go to charity, said the event's organiser on Friday.
SINGAPORE: Fashion Week 2013 organiser FIDe Fashion Weeks announced Friday that all proceeds from the sale of the VIP tickets to Korean pop star G-Dragon’s Fashion Week showcase in Singapore on Saturday will go to charity.
The 20 VIP tickets, which cost S$1,000 each and grant access to a special meet-and-greet with the 25-year-old entertainer after his five-song gig, were sold out within an hour of going on sale.
The nett proceeds from the sale of the VIP tickets will be used to assist financially disadvantaged people who are unable to afford treatment for their illnesses.
G-Dragon, the leader of K-pop group Big Bang, isn’t the only Korean star who will be visiting Singapore during Fashion Week 2013, which runs till October 19 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
Korean singer-actor Rain is also in town – he is scheduled to grace the opening of a new boutique and attend a fashion show on Friday.
