SEOUL: Korean singer Psy revealed in a recent interview with Italian fashion magazine “L’Uomo Vogue” that he had collaborated with US rock star Steven Tyler on a new song, reported Korean media.
The "Gangnam Style" star described US rock band Aerosmith's front man Tyler as a “legendary artist”, and was overjoyed to have the chance to work with the 65-year-old.
“When I was in middle school, I literally cried when they were singing ‘Crazy’ or ‘Amazing’ or whatever,” Psy told the magazine.
“They were my lifetime role models, and now I am collaborating with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I love my life.”
He added that his fans may get to hear his new songs in as early as November.
Singapore could well have been the birthplace of this collaboration – Psy met Tyler earlier this year at a music event in Singapore, and even posted a photo of their happy encounter on Twitter.
