Robbie Williams to perform in Singapore for the first time in 13 years

UK singer Robbie Williams will perform in Singapore on September 20 for the first time in 13 years, as part of the entertainment lineup of the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.

SINGAPORE: UK singer Robbie Williams will perform in Singapore on September 20, as part of the entertainment lineup of the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.

It will be the 40-year-old pop star’s first concert here in 13 years.

Williams, a former member of 90s UK boy band Take That, embarked on a solo career in 1995.

He is best known for his songs like “Better Man”, “Rock DJ”, “Let Me Entertain You” and “Candy”.

Other acts that will be performing over the race weekend include Taiwan rock band Mayday as well as John Legend, the Pet Shop Boys and Ziggy Marley.
