The Rolling Stones to perform in Singapore in March

Rock legends The Rolling Stones will play in Singapore on March 15 at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Ballroom as part of their 14 On Fire concert tour.

SINGAPORE: Rock legends The Rolling Stones will play in Singapore on March 15 at the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Grand Ballroom as part of their 14 On Fire concert tour.

The band last's concert here was at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2003.

"Can't wait to be back on stage in Singapore, I am really looking forward to playing all your favourite songs and seeing you all very soon," said The Rolling Stones lead vocalist Mick Jagger in a media statement.

He will be joined by The Rolling Stones guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, as well as drummer Charlie Watts at their Singapore gig.

Guitarist Mick Taylor, who was a member of the band between 1969 and 1974 will be a special guest on the tour.

The band is expected to play their hit songs like "Gimme Shelter", "Paint It Black" and "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll" during their show.
