19 primary schools over-subscribed on first day of P1 Phase 2B registration

As in previous years, most of the over-subscribed schools at this phase have church or clan affiliations, and balloting at these schools is likely when this registration phase ends tomorrow.

SINGAPORE: 19 primary schools are already over-subscribed on day one of primary school registration, Phase 2B. These schools are likely to see balloting after this phase ends tomorrow.

Phase 2B is for children of parent volunteers, community leaders, and church or clan association members.

As in previous years, most of the over-subscribed schools at this phase have church or clan affiliations.

Just over half of all primary schools (104) in Singapore still have 50 or more places open at this point. Registration for phase 2B continues until tomorrow afternoon.
