1,300 officers at Singapore's national water agency will sport the new uniforms from Thursday.
SINGAPORE: PUB, the national water agency, on Wednesday (July 30) unveiled a new set of uniforms for 1,300 of its frontline officers and those who perform installation works.
Come Thursday, July 31, the new uniform will replace the current turquoise-coloured version, which was introduced in 2001. The new version boasts brighter colours and is made of a light-weight fabric that is easily cleaned, said PUB in a press release titled "Same great service, a fresh new look".
“Sporting hues of our corporate colours, this new uniform design is in line with PUB’s professional and forward-looking image. We believe that this refreshed look will rejuvenate our officers to continue to deliver a personable service, in more comfort and style,” said Mr Yeo Keng Soon, PUB’s Quality Service Manager and Director of Corporate Development.
