SINGAPORE: Three out of the five teenagers that allegedly sneaked onto the rooftop of a Housing and Development Board (HDB) block in Toa Payoh to commit vandalism have been slapped with another charge of illegally entering premises, over an alleged earlier incident.
An extra charge was tendered against Boaz Koh Wen Jie, Reagan Tan Chang Zhi and Chay Nam Shen on Friday (June 27) for allegedly committing criminal trespass at the rooftop of Bishan MRT station between Apr and Jun 2013. According to court documents, the trio are alleged to have climbed over the wall fencing to enter the premises.
The other two teenagers – David William Graaskov and Goh Rong Liang – were present in court on Friday as well. The teenagers, all aged 17, are said to be behind the graffiti at Block 85A, Lorong 4 Toa Payoh on May 7 which included expletives directed at the People’s Action Party and the police.
The court heard that investigations are almost completed for the case. The five who are out on bail will return to court on July 29.
