SINGAPORE: The male suspect who was accused of vandalising a shop at Bedok Point turned himself in to the police.
On Tuesday, the police said the man was arrested for criminal trespass in connection with the perfume shop display in Bedok Point that was vandalised on September 22.
The shop owner told Channel NewsAsia that the man had actually come forward to apologise on September 23, one day after the vandalism took place.
He even offered to work to compensate the shop for the damage caused.
The shop owner does not plan to press any charges, but said the final decision still lies with the police.
Investigations are underway.
