The pop-up cafe is part of the Singapore Kindness Movement’s effort to foster a more positive service culture here.
SINGAPORE: This cafe has a politeness policy – for greeting the staff and saying “please” and “thank you”, you pay S$2 instead of S$5 for a coffee.
The pop-up cafe at One Raffles Place was set up on Monday (June 9) by the Singapore Kindness Movement and Jewel Cafe. It is part of the movement’s effort to promote mutual respect and courtesy between service staff and customers, as well as foster a more positive service culture in Singapore.
The cafe will be at Raffles Place until Wednesday and at the National Library Board Atrium on June 14 and 15.
