Fantasia by Escriba takes place this weekend, and will feature showstoppers like a chocolate waterfall and life-sized confectionery animals.
SINGAPORE: A mouthwatering experience is in store for theatre lovers with a sweet tooth, as the world's first confectionery theatre extravaganza, Fantasia by Escriba, comes alive this weekend at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.
Visitors can marvel at towering masterpieces such as a chocolate waterfall and life-sized confectionery animals. These cannot be eaten, but visitors can taste other sweet treats using their entry tickets.
Look out for a hamburger created by pastry chef Patricia Schmidt, who describes it as one of her trickiest accomplishments: "It's very big and it's thin, so to assemble and put everything together for me was the most difficult."
Fantasia by Escriba will also feature theatrical performances showcasing colourful costumes and acrobatic feats.
