Dengue cases on the rise in Singapore

There are concerns over reported cases at the National University of Singapore's University Town (UTown). As of Monday (Aug 11), there have been 13 cases in the area. 

SINGAPORE: Dengue cases are on the rise again, with concerns of reported cases at the National University of Singapore's University Town (UTown).

As of Monday (Aug 11), there have been 13 cases in the area. However, those affected are mainly workers in the construction site there, where a stop-work order is in place.

According to statistics on the National Environment Agency's website, the number of cases hit a high of 891 for the period of Jun 29 till Jul 5. It dropped to 483 cases in the next four weeks, but rose to 548 last week.
