Singapore's top paddler is receiving treatment for injury sustained in Dubai earlier this month.
SINGAPORE: Singapore's top-ranked female paddler Feng Tianwei will not compete in the National Table Tennis Grand Finale.
Instead, the world number five will make a special appearance at the competition with Singapore's other national paddlers at the competition.
The Singapore Table Tennis Association said in a statement that Feng suffered a knee injury during the 2013 World Tour Grand Finals in Dubai earlier this month and is currently receiving treatment for the injury.
The women's competition starts on Friday at the Toa Payoh Table Tennis Training Hall.
