SINGAPORE: Singapore's table tennis queen Feng Tianwei is on course to claim her third Sportswoman of the Year award.
A selection committee revealed the finalists of the 2014 Singapore Sports Awards on Monday, with bowler Shayna Ng standing between Feng and her hat-trick.
Swimmer Joseph Schooling is in line to win his second Sportsman of the Year award; he is up against billiards player Peter Gilchrist.
Rider Janine Khoo could seal a historic first victory for equestrian if she wins Sportsgirl of the Year, but she has to contend with sailor Bertha Han, shooter Martina Lindsay and wushu exponent Ho Lin Ying.
It is also a four-way fight for Sportsboy of the Year, which will be contested by bowler Muhammad Jaris Goh, sailor Loh Jia Yi, silat exponent Muhammad Nur Alfian and swimmer Quah Zheng Wen.
The winners will be announced at the Singapore Sports Awards presentation ceremony on June 7 at Orchard Hotel.
