Fire at Pearls Centre, involving ventilation system motor

A fire broke out at the building's 10th-storey carpark and was extinguished by two water jets, says the Singapore Civil Defence Force. 

SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at Pearls Centre at Eu Tong Sen Street on Monday afternoon (Sep 1), and involved the ventilation system motor, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

The SCDF received a call about the incident at 3.43pm, and dispatched two fire engines, two Red Rhinos, two fire bikes, four support vehicles and an ambulance. The fire, which broke out on the 10th-storey carpark of Pearls Centre, was extinguished with two water jets, and there were no injuries.
