SINGAPORE: Foreign and local students battled it out in friendly football matches at the Swiss Club on Saturday.
The games were organised by the Swiss Embassy, and involved 14 local and foreign schools.
Minister of State for Education Sim Ann presented prizes to the teams.
The matches were organised into separate segments for the girls and boys.
Each segment consisted of six to eight teams where a match lasted for eight minutes without any half time.
Ms Sim Ann said: "It's a marvellous opportunity for children from Singapore schools as well as international schools to play sports together and to get to know each other better. And I certainly look forward to encouraging more schools to participate in this very meaningful tournament next year."
