King of Jordan to visit Singapore

The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, will make a two-day state visit to Singapore from Monday, at the invitation of President Tony Tan Keng Yam. This will be his second state visit to the Republic.

SINGAPORE: The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, will make a two-day state visit to Singapore from Monday, at the invitation of President Tony Tan Keng Yam.

This will be his second state visit to the Republic.

President Tan will meet King Abdullah II at the Istana and host a state banquet in his honour on Monday.

The Jordan king will be hosted to lunch by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday.

King Abdullah II will also meet business leaders at a roundtable organised by the Singapore Business Federation and visit the Institute of Technical Education College East and the Civil Service College.

He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh and Minister of Industry and Trade Hatim Al Halawani Al Tamimi.
