The Lau Pa Sat Festival Market will reopen on Monday after eight months and a S$4 million renovation.
SINGAPORE: Those who work in Shenton Way can head back to an old haunt for lunch on Monday.
The Lau Pa Sat Festival Market will reopen after a S$4 million renovation.
It was closed for eight months for renovation and restoration works.
The number of food stalls has been reduced by about half -- from 90 to just 54.
But the centre can now seat about 2,500 diners -- 460 seats more than before.
Ventilation has also been improved with eight 14-foot fans installed along each food street.
