M1 CEO apologises via SMS for service disruption

M1 customers on Wednesday afternoon received an apology from the telco's CEO Karen Kooi via SMS for the disruption to mobile services on Tuesday.

SINGAPORE: M1 customers on Wednesday afternoon received an apology from the telco's CEO Karen Kooi via SMS for the disruption to mobile services on Tuesday.

In the SMS, the M1 boss said: "I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced.

"I take this incident seriously and will spare no effort to further enhance our network.

"Thank you for your understanding and support."

The customers were also told that local mobile calls, and SMS and MMS services on Sunday will be free.
