SINGAPORE: Malaysia's King Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah has arrived in Singapore for a three-day state visit.

The king, who is accompanied by his wife, was received by Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Lim Swee Say on Sunday.

As part of their visit, they will meet President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The king's visit reciprocates President Tan and Mrs Tan's state visit to Malaysia last year, and underscores the deep and longstanding ties between Singapore and Malaysia.
