Man faces murder charge over elderly woman's death

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of an 88-year-old woman in Teck Whye Lane.

SINGAPORE: A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of an 88-year-old woman in Teck Whye Lane.

Police said the suspect was arrested on Monday -- more than two weeks after the incident.

The victim was found with head injuries at a lift lobby on the ninth floor of Block 115, Teck Whye Lane on April 12.

She died in hospital three days later.

Police said the suspect will be charged in court with murder on Tuesday.
