An accident involving a car and a bus in Yishun near Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) on Sunday afternoon left one person injured.
SINGAPORE: An accident involving a car and a bus in Yishun near Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) on Sunday afternoon left one person injured.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted at about 12.40pm of the incident at the junction of Yishun Central 1 and Yishun Avenue 2.
Their officers arrived on the scene a few minutes later.
The driver of the car -- a man in his early 30s -- was sent to KTPH.
Channel NewsAsia understands that the man had sustained light injuries.
A photo from a member of the public, Mr Fred Yit, shows the front of the car involved in the accident -- a black sedan -- smashed.
The SMRT bus involved in the collision is believed to have mounted the curb.
Another photo from Mr Yit shows the bus on the adjacent footpath and grass verge.
Police investigations are ongoing.
