The car wash raised more than S$57,000 for charity, and all proceeds will go to beneficiaries under MediaCorp’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme - MediaCorp Cares - which focuses on helping the elderly and youth-at-risk.

Ms Irene Lim, Head of Group Sales and Marketing at MediaCorp said: “Today was a great way for us, the group sales and marketing team of MediaCorp, to get together and do something different, something fun for charity.

“Being a socially responsible company, we used the latest eco-friendly waterless car wash products to reduce water usage," added Ms Lim.

Aside from Friday's event, MediaCorp employees, together with partners and members of the public, volunteer their time to participate in or help organize activities for beneficiaries from TOUCH Community Service, Lions Befrienders and Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore).
