MediaCorp's "Finding U" and "Dolls" are among the winners at the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards.
SINGAPORE: MediaCorp has won two Gold and three Silver awards at the 2014 PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards held in New York City on Thursday (June 12).
Channel U grabbed double honours, winning a Gold award in the "Outdoor/Environment/Transit Static Ad" category for its programme "Finding U". It also took home a Silver award in the "Art Direction & Design: 3-D Promotional/Sales Kit" category for its programme "Smart@Work2 - Survival Kit".
Channel 8 won a Gold award in the "Public Service Announcement Spot" category for its programme "Dolls". Meantime, Channel 5 won a Silver award for the "On-Air Illustration" category for its programme "Weekend Home Theatre".
Rounding up the awards, MediaCorp's Marketing Communications department bagged a Silver in the "Total Package Design: Print only - Channel or Programme" category for its programme "Chinese New Year Luncheon 2013".
The PromaxBDA Awards are regarded as the most prestigious awards for creative endeavours in the media industry.
