Eight miniature horses at the Singapore Zoo will go on a special parade to mark the Year of the Horse.

SINGAPORE: Eight miniature horses at the Singapore Zoo will go on a special parade to mark the Year of the Horse.

The parade will be held between January 31 and February 2, and will begin at the zoo's Rainforest Kidzworld at 10.30am.

Visitors are welcome to walk alongside the Falabellas, said the zoo in a statement.

It describes the Falabella as a rare Argentine breed of miniature horse, known as the first and original miniature horse breed.

The horse is a true purebred due to its unique and historic ancestry, it added.
