A new chief executive of WDA has been appointed. He is Ng Cher Pong, who is currently Deputy Secretary (Policy) of the Ministry of Education.
SINGAPORE: A new chief executive of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has been appointed.
He is Ng Cher Pong, who is currently Deputy Secretary (Policy) of the Ministry of Education.
His new appointment will take effect on 1 November 2013.
A statement from the Manpower Ministry said Mr Ng will succeed Wong Hong Kuan, who assumed the role of director of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) on Tuesday.
Mr Ng will take over the helm from Goh Eng Ghee, currently WDA's Deputy CE, who was appointed Acting CE of WDA on September 1.
