SINGAPORE: One of Singapore's longest running consumer electronics exhibitions -- The PC Show -- returns this year, with a sneak peek into some new exciting technology.
The highlight this year is the new "Know Your Tech" section -- a sales-free area which allows customers to have a hands-on experience with highly anticipated tech toys such as Google Glass.
Described as an evolution of a smartphone, this "wearable computer" offers many new features -- like taking pictures without the need to hold the device up, which can block one's vision.
The PC Show is taking place at the Singapore Expo Halls 5 and 6 from June 5 to 8. Products on sale at the show include notebooks, tablets, televisions and cameras.
Show organisers said the chance to experience first-hand some of the new products can help consumers with their buying decisions.
Gillian Loh, project manager with Lines Exposition and Management Services, said: "What's special about this exhibition zone is actually a sales-free area. Let's just say if you're unsure about what to purchase in the show, you can actually come by to this area to understand better about the exhibitors' products (and its) features.
"You can actually have hands-on experience and then after that, you can make a better informed decision."
